Choosing to Heal - Own Your Life!

Choosing to heal is choosing life. It does not mean happiness; it just means that you are willing to acknowledge the pain and to do something about it.

We are not always in control of our lives. There are no guarantees. There are only experiences. It involves emotion; love, hate, fear, anger, joy... and that brings many opportunities to heal.

What we suppress comes out in the body. The body talks to us, but we are usually not listening. The mind is like a radio, too much static. So hearing the messages can be confusing and difficult to understand. When the body hurts, we suppress more, and then illness comes, and we are stricken with agony.

Here is a moment of redemption. To own your life is a chance to allow, accept, forgive, and receive all you are. This can be a lengthy process. To forgive can be hard for us, especially when it is you that needs to forgive yourself. I have heard many people comment about this as if it wasn't real. It is as if we have already forgiven ourselves but to go deeper brings up more agony.

Talk to yourself out-loud and feel what rings true to you. We have become amazing liars, but when you say it out-loud something inside of you knows the truth. That is you, the higher self, if you will. Our intuition is amazing and it can grow stronger with practice.

Stop waiting for a cure. Do something. Be responsible for your choices; your life is waiting for you.
