Fear is a double-edged sword

Fear is something we are all very familiar with. Recognizing fear appears to be problematic; the potential of healing from fear is scary for everyone. It means, to me, that there is something that creates anxiety and the reason we don't go there is because of the fear. When we begin to pay attention to the fear we are asking it to run away. Maybe this is why we are coached to think positively, although; thinking negatively maybe the opposite to positive, just a chance to delve deeper in the truth.

A lot of us don't like the thought of 'going deeper'. It feels old, and to reopen a wound may seem pointless. I will tell you this, opening up the 'old' wound has more point than leaving it unattended. Unattended is a recipe for disaster. Ultimately, it will pop again and again with same old issues.

Here is an opportunity to choose ease instead of drama. The discomfort is temporary. When you reopen old stories it doesn't mean that you are asking for it to come back into your life. Odds are it probably never left in the first place. This is why the pain, or the drama, keeps reoccuring.

Why would we want to go deeper to heal on our own? There are people in your life that have gifts to facilitate ease. The simple thing to do is to ask. Take action in your life!

Fear is a double-edge sword; it carries some significant but non-obvious risk. What are you waiting for?
